Owner, Laura Matthewson, has a background in product development and design. She grew up in Ohio before moving to Los Angeles to work in the beauty industry. She learned so much in those 15 years of sales, marketing, and education before leaving a corporate life behind to start her own retail business in Los Angeles in 2019. Retail stores are very challenging, but she loved it, learning much more about business, merchandising, and packaging than she ever imagined!

In 2025, Laura moved from LA to Westcliffe, CO where her family now resides on a beautiful ranch. She makes all products by hand and is inspired by her horses Yogi and Angus. Laura also teaches Equine First Aid classes to horse owners and industry professionals @firstaidequine.
